DIVERSITY CARAVAN - ,,GELEM, GELEM!”
The Diversity Caravan is a project dedicated to promoting inclusion, tolerance and respect for cultural, social and ethnic diversity. The main purpose of the caravan is to raise awareness among local communities about the value that diversity brings to society and to help combat discrimination and stereotypes. The diversity caravan realized through the ERASMUS+ project: “TOGETHER WE SUCCEED, NON-FORMAL FOR SOCIAL INCLUSION”, is a permanent component of our association.
Following this, we also established a Club for Roma adults, out of the desire to facilitate communication with them by offering permanent support for the problems they face.
The caravan takes place through a series of interactive and educational activities, such as:

Workshops and information sessions
- Workshops on human rights, equal opportunities and combating discrimination.
- Presentations about the traditions, culture and history of various ethnic groups, including the Roma community.

Cultural events
- Music, dance and theater performances that celebrate multiculturalism.
- Exhibitions of art, photography and crafts by artists from various communities.

Educational activities for children and young people
- Thematic games and competitions that encourage empathy and understanding of diversity.
- Public readings and discussions on solidarity and mutual respect.

Community support services
- Mobile points of legal, social or professional advice for people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Organizing donations (supplies, books, food) for vulnerable communities.

Information campaigns
- Distributing informative materials about social inclusion and the importance of diversity.
- Open debates and discussions with local leaders, community members and subject matter experts.
The Diversity Caravan moves to several localities, including rural or marginalized areas, being an initiative aimed at bringing communities closer and promoting an open and constructive dialogue. The project emphasizes the idea that diversity is a valuable resource that contributes to the cohesion and development of society.
